Tart with Basil Flavour and Smoked Steak
Preheat oven to 180 ° C.
Put the fresh cream in a saucepan and heat up until just before it starts to boil. Remove from heat and pour in the basil leaves. Stir and let the fresh cream aside.
In a nonstick pan without adding any greasy substance, put the smoked steak and cook until becomes golden.
Butter slightly a tart case and strew the shortcrust pastry. Suffuse onto the pastry the potato cubes, the smoked steak and parmesan.
Strain the fresh cream with a strainer, pressing the basil leaves to make as much flavour as possible.
In a bowl beat well the eggs, add the flavoured cream, yogurt, salt and freshly grounded pepper. Pour the mixture onto the shortcrust pastry and strew to go everywhere.
Bake the tart for 50 minutes until the cream thickens.
Just before serving, sprinkle with a few parmesan flakes and a few fresh basil leaves.
