Feta Cheese with Seeds and Dried Fruits Wrapped In Crust Fillo Pastry Baked in the Oven
Preheat oven to 180 ° C.
Strew the baking sheet of the oven with nonstick kitchen paper.
Grease a crust fillo pastry ZIMI PSACHNON with a brush.
Dip the first slice of feta cheese in beaten eggs and place it on the crust fillo pastry from the narrow side and sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of the seed mixture.
Add pepper, fold the sides of the sheet onto the feta cheese slice and then wrap the feta forming an envelope.
Wet the edges of the fillo in order to secure the closure.
Place the “envelope” in the baking sheet and repeat the process three more times with the remaining pieces of feta.
Smear the top of the envelopes with egg and sprinkle 2 tablespoons of the salad mix that have been leftover.
Bake in oven for 25-30 minutes to get a nice ruby colour.
Take them out of the oven and serve each feta “envelope” sprinkling it with a little petimezi (grape syrup).
