Cheese Pie (alternative recipe with strips of Crust Fillo Pastry)
In a bowl mix the cheeses, fresh mint and paprika flakes.
Remove crust fillo pastry “ZIMI PSACHNON” from its packaging and as it is, like a roll, take it and cut into thin strips like fringes. Separate the crust fillo pastry strips with hands and leave them to dry.
Preheat oven to 180 ° C. Brush with little margarine a baking pan.
Strew half the amount of the crust fillo pastry strips and sprinkle with half of the melted margarine. Spread over the mixture with the cheese and sprinkle with plenty of freshly grounded pepper.
Strew the remaining dried crust fillo pastry strips on top and sprinkle with the remaining margarine.
In a bowl, mix well the ingredients of the cream and strew on top of the pie.
Bake in oven for 1 hour.
Take the pie out from the oven and cut into pieces. Serve the cheese pie warm or cold.
